Ipsos Core Political Survey Chris Jackson & Annaleise Azevedo Lohr, Ipsos President Biden’s approval rating remains at 40% this week. When asked about other leaders, Americans are most likely to disapprove of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (53%), followed by Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (42%). A majority of Americans support making it more difficult for immigrants from Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Haiti to claim asylum (54%), and they are least likely to support reducing spending on Social Security and Medicare (21%).
