UnidosUS, the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization, has released findings from its 2024 Pre-Election Poll of the Hispanic Electorate. The survey of 3,000 Latino voters shows that the top five priorities, two months out from the election, are dominated by cost-of-living issues — inflation, wages, housing and health care costs — with immigration and gun violence tied at number five.

A new survey in the six swing states finds that majorities of Republicans and Democrats oppose criminalizing abortion before fetal viability, in line with the principle under Roe v. Wade. Bipartisan majorities favor reducing unintended pregnancies and abortions through policies that would keep or increase access to birth control.

Specifically, the survey demonstrates that Vice President Harris can persuade broad swaths of voters by linking her economic priorities to Obama’s policy playbook, including expanding access to healthcare and passing tax and economic policies that benefit the working and middle-class rather than the megarich.
