Harris leads in four of seven swing states; Democratic Senate candidates lead in every swing-state race

YouGov polled seven battleground states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – between August 23 and September 3 for The Times and SAY24, a joint project of Stanford, Arizona State, and Yale Universities. The poll shows the gains Vice President Kamala Harris has made on President Biden's position when we last polled these states in early July, a week before Biden's withdrawal from the race. In each state the Democratic Senate candidate is running ahead of Harris by between 2 and 6 points.

Harris leads Trump by 3 percentage points, 49% to 46%, according to the first look at our daily tracking survey results among likely voters this year. The finding is roughly in line with what our results among registered voters have shown over the past month.

There's still a long stretch until the 2024 presidential election, but Tim Walz leads JD Vance on favorability, according to a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll. Thirty-six percent of likely voters surveyed after the Democratic convention said they had a favorable view of former President Donald Trump's running mate, Vance, while Vice President Kamala Harris' VP pick, Walz, garnered 48%.

A median of 58% across 35 countries have a favorable view of the organization, while 31% have a negative view, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted this spring.
