Maryland: The president and the president-elect

Statewide, 34% approve of the job Donald Trump is doing as he prepares for his inauguration, while 58% of Marylanders disapprove of the job he’s doing. President Joe Biden maintains decent numbers in Maryland, with 55% approving of the job he is doing. In our September poll, 50% of Marylanders thought that things in the country overall were moving in the right direction. Today, only 35% say things are moving in the right direction.
