Majorities of both Republicans and Democrats would not extend the 2017 tax cuts for all incomes, make big cuts to Medicaid or SNAP (food stamps), nor increase spending on national defense or homeland security. On the contrary, they would raise taxes on high incomes, reduce defense spending, and keep spending on everything else about the same.
