Exercise Link to Lower Stress Greater for Women Than Men

U.S. adults who exercise at least 30 minutes every day or nearly every day are significantly less likely to report experiencing stress than those who don’t exercise. The relationship between exercise and reduced stress is especially strong among women, with those exercising frequently expressing far less stress than women who don’t exercise.
